Residential Demolition
Residential demolition covers houses, garages, additions and outbuildings — from a single detached garage to a full teardown before a rebuild. Most residential jobs are less about the structure and more about everything around it: the neighbour's fence, the utilities, the trees you want kept.
What the job covers
- Houses, garages, additions, carports and outbuildings

- Foundations and slabs broken out where the scope calls for it
- Debris hauled away and the lot left clean
What affects the quote
- Lot access — narrow drives, alley-only entry, or equipment coming past the house
- How close the structure sits to neighbouring property or overhead lines
- Whether the slab and foundation come out or stay
- Trees, fences, driveways or utilities you want protected
- Age of the property, which affects the likelihood of asbestos or lead
Every job is quoted after we understand the site. Photographs of what needs to come down, and of how a machine would reach it, get you an accurate number faster than a description will.
Common questions
Before you call
Does the slab come out too?
That is your call and it is worth deciding early, because it changes both the machine and the haul-off. If you are rebuilding on the same footprint the slab sometimes stays; if you are re-grading the lot it usually goes.
What about the neighbour's fence?
Tell us what you want protected before we quote. Fences, mature trees, driveways and irrigation are the things people assume are understood and then are upset about afterwards, so we would rather have it written down.
