How you opt in — by phone
When you call Allied, the assistant that answers, Ally, asks once — after reading your callback number back to you — whether texting that number is all right. The question she asks is:
“Is it okay if we text you at that number about this project? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”
If you say yes, that is your consent and it is recorded against your request with the date and time of the call. You will then receive one confirmation text. If you say no, we will not text you, and you receive exactly the same service by phone and email. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting an estimate or scheduling work.
